We had a wonderful time visiting Mt. Rushmore (or, as we’ve been calling it “Rount Mushmore and Mount Mushmore”).
An added surprise was the Crazy Horse monument (none of us knew anything about this one), which has been under construction since 1948. The reason it’s taking so long to complete is that it’s totally done with donations and NO government funding.
