Hiking the Yellowstone Canyon

Today we went to Canyon Junction and hiked to see the Lower Falls in Yellowstone’s Grand Canyon.

Following the North Rim Road, we picnicked at a pull off and went on to see more of the Grand Canyon – even seeing an osprey’s nest on a pinnacle.

We have limited wifi and have to hunt for free service from info centers or restaurants! Please bear with us over the next bit!

Traffic jam coming out of the park – people trying to get pictures of elk! Imagine that! Yes, that is our truck! Ranger was in the road With bullhorn to make sure people didn’t stop on the road!

Forest fires are keeping us from visiting Grand Tetons, making it a three hour drive just to the park, not to mention an hour delay due to construction. Yellowstone has 7 fires actively burning. Many roads closed.
